Learning a foreign language has become more important than ever before. Being able to communicate in a foreign language is one of the main criteria in Europe, where more than 100 million people speak German. Going abroad is therefore a great chance to develop one's abilities.

When, on 1st November 1986, Mr. Roger Ruiz, who was born in France, founded ASTUR, he had already been organising language stays in Germany and France for more than 10 years.

ASTUR started working with only a few foreign agencies and offered linguistic stays in a restricted number of German cities. Thanks to our professional ability, ASTUR reputation grew quickly an more and more agencies became interested in working with us.

In 1992 the non-profit organization became a limited company, ASTUR GmbH.

Today, ASTUR GmbH, organize language stays and class tours with accommodation in selected host families or youth hostels in about 50 centres (München), as well as in towns such as Augsburg, Lübeck, Treves (Trier) or Mainz.

We are also offering “International Summer Courses” and “International Summer Camps” where youngsters from all over the world can meet and mix.

We look forward to welcoming the young students from your country in our centres. We will do our best to help them gain a lot of experience and have a great time!
