ASTUR is responsible for the accuracy of description of all services offered in the brochure.

ASTUR reserves the right to correct printing and calculation errors. These conditions and any contract shall be governed by the laws of Germany.

 

Duration of lessons: One lesson has a 45 minutes time period.

Cancelled lessons on bank holidays: In our "International Summer Courses” in Augsburg, Berlin and Munich-Freising, lessons cancelled due to bank holidays will be compensated. Undisciplined behaviour and damages: Clients must exercise reasonable standards of conduct. Any participant who breaks school regulations or upsets the community through her/his undisciplined behaviour will be excluded from the programme. Any loss or damage to any property or injury or death of any person caused by the negligent act or omission of wilful misconduct of the client will be charged to the participant. Theft: In case of theft, the participant will be sent back home on his/her own expense! Health: We can only accept participants in good health without diet or medical treatment. If participants contract a serious or infectious disease, they are obliged to report to our local co-ordinator immediately. Complaints: Complaint should be made during the stay to the Department Head or local co-ordinator immediately. In the event that the matter is not resolved the client should make an immediate report in writing to the Manager who will investigate it fully and take any necessary action.

 

All students who come from EU-countries have to obtain the EHI Card (European Health Insurance Card) from their health insurance authorities (with an entitlement to free treatment) before leaving to Germany; they also have to prove of having a liability insurance. Students who do not come from EU-countries have to take out the health, accident and liability insurance with ASTUR GmbH prior the beginning of the stay. If desired, we can arrange an insurance policy covering travel health (dental treatment: simple fillings), accident, assistance, luggage and third party liability. This insurance is only valid during the participant’s stay in Germany (prices on demand). All damage deliberately caused by a student during his/her stay in a host family, in school or any other place have to be paid directly and immediately by the participant; ASTUR is not responsible! ASTUR GmbH reserves the right to return any participant who does not know how to behave in his/her host family or Camp (impoliteness, intolerable conduct, damage deliberately caused, Alcohol or drugs, theft, etc…). All additional costs resulting of this early return are to be paid by the participant himself at once. There is no refund of the course and accommodation fees.

 

Liability
ASTUR is not liable for any loss or damage caused as a result of "act of god” such as strikes, war, riots floods or any other circumstances beyond our control.  ASTUR will not be liable for any expenses or inconvenience caused to any client who has been expelled from a course as a result of unreasonable or unsociable behaviour. ASTUR will not be liable to any clients unless and until we have received full payment.
